Rain, rain, nothing but rain! I don't know about you, but I'm heartily sick of it - enough now!
So I thought you might like to see the deep pink marguerite that I've planted in an old clay drainage pipe. It's a cheery bit of brightness by the back door, and boy, do we need it.

A ray of sunshine

It is raining here too and very chilly in the evenings. Since I am not a big fan of summer, I don't mind that much. When it is warm, you can smell the autumn approaching in the woods. The toadstools will be popping up very soon if this weather keeps up. It is perfect conditions for them and I can't wait to go on walks looking for them to admire.
Hugs ~
Heidi

I know those as painted daisies.
I too am now sick of the rain and waiting for the sunshine. Flowers are beautiful.
So sorry you are still drenched in rain! But those sunshiny faces of marguerites are certainly smiley and cheerful.
