The 2008 Flower Festival ends with a concert tonight. It has been as busy and satisfying as usual - the nice things visitors say about the flowers and the home-made cakes etc. at the village hall are a good reward for the very hard work that goes into the few days.

It was certainly a beautiful display of flowers. And the cakes were scrummy (Mrs H did have three!)
Thanks for the advice. And guess what, I have the makings of an article already! Amazing what a bit of inspiration can do!
Gr8 to see you today and really enjoyed chatting with Brian

Absolutely wonderful day.
We really enjoyed meeting up with you both. The flowers in the church were beautiful, the cakes were delicious (gluten and all....)
and it was great to spend some time on the farm. Hetty stole the show!
I have even tended my veg patch, salad nursery and deadheaded the 'bedders' since being back

Thanks GBHs
