There are some wonderful colours about at the moment. I've been noticing the rich shades of hydrangeas in particular...one along our road is a deep rusty mahogany - quite beautiful. Even the pale pink one in our garden turns a gentle green, with pink edging...in some ways just as enjoyable to look at as the summer flowers, don't you think?

Oddly enough I was looking at my pink hydrangeas today. I like the way the green leaves have turned red in places. I will try to get some photos....if I remember!
