Auntie Vera's shortbread
(Very easy, very nice!)
8oz, 225g Plain flour
8oz, 225g butter
4oz, 110g sugar
2oz, 50g cornflour
2oz ground rice (or rice flour if you cannot get ground rice)

Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Rub in lighly until mixture binds together. Roll into large sausage shape. Slice (less than quarter inch). Put on greased tin and bake until lightly golden, in a moderate oven...about 20 minutes...
