We've been busy designing and making draught excluders recently...anything that will help to keep the fuel bills down this autumn and winter.
These are two easy ones to sew. The smiley caterpillar (so that's what it is!) is made from an old scarf and blanket stitched around the edge with a bit of leftover knitting wool. And we made the snake with a remnant of striped cotton, using red felt for the tongue and button eyes. Ever ones to save money, we took the filling out of an old duvet and used it as stuffing.
Simple and cheap to make...just our kind of thing!
