Every chance I get I look for old buttons. Is this turning into a bit of a sad obsession...could be! Anyway, I've found quite a few recently. The best is the red Chinoiserie tin, full of buttons, that I came across in a charity shop for just a couple of pounds...must be a bargain, eh?

I use them to decorate lavender bags and for all sorts of sewing projects.
